The Will To Dream
Sundays in Advent

Advent invites us into a season of waiting, longing, and hope as we prepare our hearts for Christ’s coming. This year, our theme The Will to Dream calls us to imagine and work toward a world shaped by God’s justice, peace, joy, and love.

Through scripture, story, and prayer, we’ll hear voices like Isaiah, John the Baptist, Elizabeth, and Zechariah as they guide us into courageous hope and faithful action.

Join us as we wait, watch, and dream together this Advent season.

Heaven's Earthly Life
Wendell Berry and the Poetry of Advent

The Christian year begins not in brightness, but in the deepening darkness of winter  the very place where God’s hope, peace, joy, and love first break in. Advent means “arrival,” and in this season we watch, wait, and prepare for Christ’s coming, even as we journey toward the manger ourselves.

This Advent, we will use scripture and the poetry of Wendell Berry to help us adjust our eyes to the darkness so we can notice the growing light. Through weekly reflections and simple practices, we’ll walk together toward the radiant joy of Christmas morning  that moment when, as Berry says, “it gets darker and darker… and then Jesus is born.”

We will meet on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm December 2, 9, and 16 in person and online.
All are warmly welcome to join us on this journey.

Longest Night/Blue Christmas Service
A Service of Remembrance and Hope

For many, Christmas is not a season of joy but a time marked by grief, loneliness, illness, or the strain of life’s difficult transitions. If you’re seeking a quiet place to breathe, reflect, or grieve amid the busyness of the holidays, you are warmly invited to our Longest Night Service.

Join us at St. Thomas Anglican Church (4A Raven Drive) for a gentle service that offers space for healing, honesty, and hope. Together, we will acknowledge the emotions that can feel out of place this time of year and rest in God’s compassionate presence.

Come and breathe. Come and grieve. Come exactly as you are.
Please note: This service is offered in-person only.

Advent Lessons and Carols

The Festival of Lessons and Carols is a beautiful service of scripture and song that has been cherished for over a century. Together, we’ll hear nine short Bible readings that tell the story of God’s promise and the coming of Jesus. After each reading, we respond with a carol or song and a brief prayer.

This is a warm, joyful celebration for all ages  whether you’re familiar with the tradition or experiencing it for the first time.

All are welcome!
